This song talks about a person who has been living in sin, but now refuses to continue living in sin and die whilst still a sinner. Indeed there’s no hope for people who die still sinners. This song doesn’t refer to the people of this world – those that do not recognize God in their lives. But it refers to people who claim to be Christians, those who profess to be children of God, but their characters deny what they profess to be. NOTE: There’s a vital thing to learn from this piece of music. There are some people who think being a Christian or a child of God is just about belonging or Going to a certain church and performing religious rituals and it ends there. But this is not true; belonging to a certain church, attending church services and doing religious activities doesn’t qualify anyone to be a child of God. The LORD Jesus said, “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21. The 1st verse of this song describes the life characteristics of this people. They claim to be God’s Children but they live as fornicators and hustlers of sin (enslaved by sin). From the time they began claiming to be God’s children to this time; they should have been God’s truly servants. But instead, sinning is their everyday life.
